Walk for the Whisper
Megann, Jon and some friends from her school participated in the Walk for the Whisper this past Saturday. This event helps raise money for ovarian cancer research.

Hey Megann,
I'm sitting here watching the Baylor verses University of Texas game and I thought of you. I was thinking about how big an underdog Baylor is, and yet they scored first and they just keep fighting. Megann, it made me think about life and how we need to just keep fighting. Jesus scored first for you when he overcame all afflictions on this earth. He has the power to overcome any obstacle we face. And, the beauty of it, is Jesus lives in you! Within you is the power to conquer, within you is the power to score first, within you in the power to win. We truly are more than conquerors...if we just believe. Megann, just keep fighting, just keep "playing" hard, just keep pursuing the goal. God is faithful to us, He will see your faith and will be pleased. Baylor has a huge oponent tonight, and it doesn't look like they are going to win, but they haven't given up. Don't give up Megann, you have so much more to "play" hard for, so much more to run for...God is your coach and He has designed the perfect play to get you to the goal...keep running. I know that you may be weary and tired of the fight, but the goal is right there..reach out and take it in faith. I believe that God has put within you exactly what you need to win....his son!!!! There are a cloud of witnesses watching you run for the goal, and we are cheering you on and lifting you up. I love you sweet sister...keep running toward the goal. God is there waiting to lift you up in triumph. And always remember....we are here for you, you are not alone! I love you. Lisa

GRIN OR GROAN...
An older couple from Arkansas were very proud of their nephew who lived in South America. They bragged about him continually.
One Christmas the nephew sent the couple a live bird from South America. It is green with a beautiful red feather crown and a bright yellow beak.
"Well this is the finest bird I have ever seen and I can't wait to eat it!" said the old man.
A few days later, the nephew called from South America to ask how they liked the bird.
"It was delicious" said the old man.
"What---you ATE the bird!!!" said the nephew. "That is a very rare expensive bird that speaks THREE languages!"
"Well," said the old man.
"He should have said something."

We continue to pray for your healing, and that God will show Himself in a mighty way for those of us who are desperately seeking Him on your behalf.

Stay encourage Megann, God is working it out. Ryan started his new school last week in Keller and is doing fine, he seem to have a nice teacher but she was only in class for a few days and want be back until Feb because she had a baby.
