Power Zone Prays for Megann

The Heritage Church of Christ Power Zone kids went on a trip to Houston, TX this past weekend. They participated in Road Map. This is an event that focuses on prayer. They gather together at several different places and pray. One place that the group met was MD Anderson. After praying with the group of Road Map participants, the Power Zone group got together said a special prayer for Megann and her doctors. God hears the prayers of a child! Power Zone is made up of 5th and 6th grade kids. http://hccpowerzone.blogspot.com/

It is so encouraging to see these children praying on yours and your doctors behalf. There is nothing sweeter than the prayers of children, how precious they are. It was great to see you tonight. Those arms can never get too tired to roll those dice! Rest up and have an awesome trip. God is good, all the time. I Love you!

What a blessing to see the POWER ZONE kids in prayer! Hope you have a fun trip this week!
The Lord said it best in Zephaniah (p. 797 in my Bible-HA) 3:17...
"The Lord your God is with you;, he is mighty to save. HE WILL TAKE TAKE GREAT DELIGHT IN YOU, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
Sing, play, & enjoy this week.
Love,

We see from the comments that you are on a trip. We pray that this break will revitalize you and give you more energy to fight the cancer. We continue to pray that God will hold you close and help you feel His constant presence and love. AND, of course, that He will heal you completely.
"If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment,or plague, or famine, we will stnad in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us." 2 Chronicles 20:9
We love you.

God in His wisdom not only created us to have our immediate family to hold us, care for us, love us and pray for us, but He gave us our "Believing Family" as well. How blessed we all are to be members of this praying family of believers.
My husband and I are freinds of Ken and Karen's in Montgomery Alabama.
We are praying for you continually, and believe God for your healing.

Dear Megann,
We had Bunko last night and missed you so very much. We laughed about all the good and funny times and then said a special prayer for you. Please know that your Stillwater family has you in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Jon & Megann~
You guys don't know me, but I've grown up at University CofC. I was a few years younger than Jon, but I remember you being there. Anyway, I have been praying for you guys. I can't imagine how difficult this has been for you. I just wanted you to know that people you don't even know are offering their thoughts and prayers. I wish there was more I could give, but knowing the power of God, that's pretty good in and of itself :) I am encouraged by your faith and please know that as your sister in Christ, I am here for you.
Love & prayers,
~Chrissy Warren~

Megann,
We played Bunko at Polly Stillwell's home last night. If not for you we wouldn't of ever heard of Bunko. You of course was the talked of a lot of the converstations. We all pray for a quick recovery and for God to give you and Jon peace while you both are going through these tough times. Have you heard to new song from Casting Crowns, about Him being with you through the storms? If not, it's a must to listen. Dana Shelbunre had a lesson one Wednesday night about just this song. It was very good.
May God keep you and love you.

Megann, it was so great to talk with you last night! It truly made my day! On my way to work this morning, listening to K-love as always, I heard a song and couldn't help but think of you. The song is by Matt Redmond and it is called (i think) "You never let go". Anyway, it talks about God never letting go of us through good, bad, whatever! What a blessing to know that. I love you and am so grateful that you sound so full of God's hope. Talk with you soon.

Hi Megann,
I hope you had a great time with your sis and are feeling good today. So many things in my day remind me of you and although I finally had to repaint my toes, even they still make me think of you. No offense, intended. I am ready and waiting for your word to plan our next outing so just let me know when you feel up to it. Keep your chin up little girl and try to remember that you are precious in the eyes of your Father and he watches over you continually.
All my love,
Beth

Hey Megann,
Just thinking about you today... you have been on my heart. I just wanted to let you know that I lifted you in prayer this morning. I pray that you can feel all the prayers being lifted for you and I pray that they give you strength to fight this ugly disease. Remember that "he who is IN YOU is more powerful than he who is in the world." You have within you everything you need to fight. Keep fighting!!! Feel the warming embrace of your heavenly Father holding you, the reality of a savior whose "stripes" were given to heal you, and the moving power of the Holy Spirit within you taking out every cell, every blemish, every spot. You are "more than a conqueror" and "able to do ALL things"... don't ever forget it!! And always remember, you are not alone!! Have a great day! I love you sweet sister, Lisa

Hey Megann,

I was also in FHU's Class of '98, and I wanted you to know that I was sending prayers your way. I work in cancer research, so hopefully one of these days we'll beat this disease once and for all.

God bless you and yours.
