CAT Scan Results

Megann got her scan results today. After visiting with Dr. Hancock, the ct scan revealed that the disease is slowly progressing. He strongly encouraged her to seek further treatment at an investigational study facility because the "approved chemos" have been tried and a new regimen is needed while she is still feeling strong. She is actively seeking out a Phase II study that would be in relatively close proximity. Please pray that Megann will soon qualify for a successful treatment option.

Megann, I am glad that there are experimental things you can try that would be close for you. My prayer is that the process of finding what works is an easy and painless one.

Megann,
As you prepare to see the doctor today, we are holding up to God a special prayer for strength, the end of the pain, and the right study for you!!! Keep the faith!

Maybe a little GRIN or GROAN will let you know that we love you!
...A blonde goes into a nearby store and asks a clerk if she can buy the TV in the corner.
The clerk looks at her and says that he doesn't serve blondes, so she goes back home and dyes her hair black.
The next day she returns to the store and asks the same thing, and again, the clerk said he doesn't serve blondes.
Frustrated, the blonde goes home and dyes her hair yet again, to a shade of red.
Sure that a clerk would sell her the TV this time, she returns and asks a different clerk this time.
To her astonishment, this clerk also says that she doesn't serve blondes.
The blonde asks the clerk, "How in the world do you know I am a blonde?"
The clerk looks at her disgustedly and says,"That's not a TV -- it's a microwave!"
(Okay, I'm a blonde & that joke makes perfect sense to me).
Love you so much,
Gerald & Charlene

Megann, Your sister Karen and I became fast friends the two years we were in San Antonio together. While I never got to meet you, I feel like I know you anyway through our walks and talks. She recently shared the news of your battle with me. Just wanted to let you know you can add the church in Rochester NY and my family who are keeping you in prayers. You have the same sweet smile--no wonder you have so many friends cheering for you! Love and prayers, Luanne
